We really liked this campground. It doesn't have all the things that the other KOA's have but it is a "KOA Express." That means: not all the other goodies. There are a few wonderful restaurants near here and also a great fruit market. All the spaces are back-ins, but there is plenty of room to get in unless you are a big diesel pusher maybe. Bring your bicycle or tow car and it is a short distance to the beautiful ocean. Very clean and nice but a bit tight on the relaxing areas around each space. Great place to stay if you are going to visit Santa Cruz, Monterey or Carmel areas. We will stay here again. The cookies were yummy!

This is a great KOA. If you have children: this place has so many things to keep them busy all day. They have 2 different areas to watch movies, 2 kinds of bikes to rent, a petting zoo, shuffle board and much more. There's a lot of trees for shade. They have some paved spaces and some that aren't. The spots weren't level but a little work fixed that. Overall just a wonderful place to stay a few days. We will return.

We have stayed here a few times and we really enjoy it. If it is a holiday weekend then the place is packed to the max. Otherwise it is usually nice and mellow. We spent the weekend there in mid July and there were many spaces available. The spaces are nice with grass at each one and trimmed shade tree. We will return again and again.

This park has a lot of things to do ( but you have to pay for most of them as you go), and I suppose that is a plus for most people. It is not on the ocean. Actually it is pretty far from it. It is on a lagoon that is muddy. There were papers saying that there were sting rays & jelly fish in the waters. We stayed out. But they do have a salt water pool with water areobics 3 days a week. We enjoyed that. They do rent golf carts at a pretty high price. But they wouldn't let us take it across the roads to Balboa Island. There is a game room, but they were taking all the games out as we were here. Also be aware that there is very little grass in this area. Your site most likely will be on dirt with no landscape around , unless you like to pay the highest price. We were not impressed with this park eventhough they call it "The Ritz of RV Parks." We have stayed at parks that were twice as nice for 1/4th the price. We paid the minimum price of $100.00 a night. I guess that is why we got the dirty , unlandscaped spaces. We will not return.

This is a small place, but this is a beautiful park. The river right in front of your site , makes it perfectly gorgeous. There was no cell phone service out here. The site was a bit of a drive away from the freeway on a little road that was one way at times. If you are out for the beauty and maybe some great fishing ~ this is the place to be. I pictured fathers and sons out at the river fishing and having a wonderful time.

Many different types of camping sites available here. Front desk people were nice to us. We were here in August and it was very full. We had a pull through and the sites are pretty close together with many trees around. Roads are tight and alot of traffic most of the time. There were fire pits at the sights in our area. The free pancakes for breakfast were great. WiFi wasn't working good at all.

We loved this park. Very nice people , great spaces , great prices and the shuttle takes you to the casino ! We even stayed an extra night here because it was so nice and pretty here. The park is very close to the I~5 freeway and that was a plus. We did go to the casino and had a good time. The food in the restaurant wasn't that great. We will go back to this park.

Very nice park with great people working here. The maintenance supervisor was very helpful when we had a few issues. He went out of his way to help us a few times. Great guy. They had double size sites with big grassy areas. This was a nice area for our dog to play in the yard. The dryer in the laundry room didn't dry clothes. People kept putting notes on it saying it was broken , but the note would just disappear. We really liked this park overall. We will stop here again.

This is a brand new park along the Sacramento river. Very nice spaces & landscaping. Wide spaces with all the room for a very big coach. This park caters to handicapped also. It is right next to the freeway which means there is some road noise but that didn't bother us. It doesn make it easy to find though. Our price was a little high but we were right next to the river. They said it was the best spot in the park. It was ! We will stay here agian.

Very nice park. We stopped here on an unexpected overnight stay. Very easy to get a space. Office people were nice and we really enjoyed the place. Wide spaces with a wonderful little grass area , all the hook ups including cable tv and wireless internet. The man made lake is great. There were 2 golf games included in our one night stay. We will stay here again.

We enjoyed our visit at this park. It has nice paved spots with a decent size grass area for each space also. The management was nice and friendly. There is no cable tv and the internet was weak at times. But all in all , we enjoyed our visit and had a nice time. We would return.
